The Simpson Strong-Wall® Shearwall Selector is a program that selects the proper Wood or Steel Strong-Wall® for a particular framing and foundation application for engineered designs.

It is updated to the latest information in our catalogs for engineered design, Strong-Wall® Shearwalls (C-SW09) and Cold-Formed Steel Connectors (C-CFS10). This reflects our code listings under the 2009 IBC/IRC for both Steel Strong-Wall shearwalls (ESR-1679) and Wood Strong-Wall shearwalls (ESR-1267).

During the installation process, the software will check to see what version of the .NET framework is installed on your computer and if the correct version is not found, it will route you to a microsoft.com page titled "Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile (Standalone Installer)." Download the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile redistributable package.
