Lessons Learned from Katrina

Hurricane Katrina was one of the deadliest and costliest hurricanes in U.S. history. In September 2006, a year after the hurricane hit the Gulf Coast, Simpson Strong-Tie interviewed some of our customers and local homeowners about their experiences and lessons learned. We compiled these stories into a documentary-style video called Lessons Learned from Katrina. The video sheds some light on the widespread damage caused by the storm while showcasing the importance of connectors and high-wind resistant construction.
